Applications received after this date will be considered only if funds are available. To access the application, follow the instructions below. Log in to Onelogin with your NCTC username and password and then click on myScholarships app to complete the General Scholarship Application. Your application will be automatically matched to ALL scholarships for which you are eligible based on the criteria of the scholarship. Review the Scholarship Application Guide for more information. The application deadline for Spring 2021 will be October 15, 2020. Please Note: Scholarship Applications are archived in February so a new application must be completed each year beginning in March. You will also want to take a look at the external opportunities and check them often. As we are made aware of scholarships outside of the NCTC Foundation, these opportunities will be posted on External Opportunities . External Scholarship Opportunities Foundation Scholarships Offered NCTC Foundation Scholarships add The NCTC Foundation office will try to match the student with a scholarship based on criteria set forth by the donor of each scholarship. Amounts of the scholarships vary from $500 to $2,000 per academic year. Minimum eligibility requirement is a cumulative 2.0 GPA. NCTC Foundation Dual Credit Scholarships add The NCTC Foundation offers Dual Credit Scholarship opportunities for high school students taking dual credit classes at NCTC. Students can complete a General Application and select the applicable semesters they plan to take dual credit courses. Students who qualify for the Free or Reduced Lunch Program at their high school will not qualify for a NCTC Foundation scholarship because NCTC offers the Dual Credit Free & Reduced Tuition Grant. For more information, please contact your high school Dual Credit Counselor. General Application   Dual Credit Free & Reduced Tuition GrantFaculty Senate Scholarship and William E. Culp Math & Science Scholarship add These scholarships will be offered for the academic year (Fall and Spring). Each semester, you must be enrolled in and complete at least 12 hours of college work at NCTC with a 3.0 G.P.A. Both college and high school applicants must have an official copy of their transcript and two letters of recommendation to apply. Complete the General Scholarship Application first. If you meet the criteria you will see this opportunity under Recommended Opportunities and can download the separate application. Mary Josephine Cox Scholarship add Awarded based on special need, special competency, or scholarship, must have a 3.0 GPA, under 21 years old, and graduate of a Cooke County High School or parents must own property in Cooke County. Awards are $ 100.00 for Fall and Spring ONLY (no summer awards) for full-time students. If student maintains 3.0 GPA and full-time status, award can continue for five consecutive semesters.
